Dashboard

Your home screen with quick actions and an overview of your health.

Ask Glyca (AI Chat)

Ask any health-related question: "What can I eat for dinner?", "When should I take my medication?", "How much water should I drink?"

Note: Glyca only answers questions about diabetes, food, medications, exercise, and water. Off-topic questions will be politely declined.

AI Daily Insights

Tap the refresh icon to get personalized recommendations for optimal meal times, exercise schedule, water intake, and daily routine — all based on your actual glucose patterns.

Charts

View glucose trends across 1 Day, 7 Days, 30 Days, or 90 Days. The chart adapts:

Sugar Tracking

The Sugar tab shows all your readings with filtering options.

Filtering

Use the segmented picker to filter: Today, 7D, 30D, 90D, or All readings.

Adding a Reading

Tap + to open the full Add Reading form with type, value, meal description, exercise, and notes.

Editing a Reading

Tap any reading to edit its value, type, time, exercise, or notes.

Deleting

Water Intake

Track daily water consumption with a progress ring and quick-add buttons.

Restaurant & Menu Finder

Find diabetes-friendly options at nearby restaurants.

Setting Location

Tap "Change" next to your location to enter a zip code. All searches use this location.

Cuisine Filter

Filter by cuisine type: Italian, Japanese, Mexican, Indian, Chinese, American, Healthy, Thai, Mediterranean.

AI Menu Recommendations

After selecting a restaurant, tap "AI Menu Recommendations" to get personalized picks based on:

Results show Best Choices (green), Avoid (red), and a Tip.

Meal History & Diet Analysis

Viewing Meals

Shows both manually logged meals and imported readings with meal notes.

AI Diet Recommendations

Analyzes your complete meal history to provide:

💡 Tip: Diet analysis refreshes every 7 days. The more data you log, the better the recommendations.

Medications

Adding Medications

Tap + to add: name, dosage, unit, and frequency.

AI Analysis

Tap "AI Medication Analysis" for a collective review of all active medications:

Note: Side effects and timing are saved permanently and only refresh if you change the dosage or frequency.

Bloodwork Reports

Uploading

  1. Go to More → Bloodwork Reports → Upload New Report
  2. Select a PDF (recommended) or image of your lab report
  3. Enter lab name and date
  4. Tap "Analyze with AI"

AI Analysis

The AI reads your lab report and provides:

💡 Tip: The analysis is saved with the report. You can view it anytime without using AI again.

How to Import

  1. Go to More → Import from CSV
  2. Tap "Select CSV File"
  3. Choose your file from Files app
  4. The app confirms how many readings were imported
Note: The first row (header) is always skipped. Commas in the Notes field should be wrapped in quotes or replaced with semicolons.

Exporting Data

Export all your readings in CSV format that can be re-imported on another device.

  1. Go to More → Export Data
  2. Tap "Export CSV"
  3. Share via AirDrop, email, or save to Files

The exported file uses the same format as the import, so it's fully round-trippable between devices.

Profile & Settings

iCloud Sync

All your data is automatically backed up to iCloud and synced across your iPhone and iPad.
